FaceMask for YouTube

A Chrome extension that masks distracting people in YouTube thumbnails so browsing feels calmer and less attention-driven.

FaceMask for YouTube is a lightweight browser extension built to reduce thumbnail-driven distraction. It detects people in YouTube thumbnails and applies a visual mask before they pull your attention away from the actual topic.\n\nThe extension focuses on a simple promise: less visual bait, more intentional browsing. You can adjust overlay color, opacity, and edge softness, while quick controls keep enabling, testing, and resetting close at hand.\n\nAll processing stays in the browser. The project is open source, designed for local use, and meant to make the YouTube feed easier to scan without constantly fighting for your attention.
